The test of Indian foods
This savory snack consists of deep-fried, crispy balls made from gram flour, often served with tangy tamarind chutney or spicy green chutney. A fragrant rice dish cooked with aromatic spices, meat (usually chicken, lamb, or goat), and sometimes vegetables. It's often served with yogurt-based raita. A popular street food snack consisting of hollow, crispy puris (fried dough) filled with a mixture of flavored water, tamarind chutney, chili, chaat masala, potato, onion, or chickpeas. Thin, tightly rolled strips made from gram flour (besan) and yogurt, seasoned with mustard seeds, grated coconut, and cilantro. It's often served as an appetizer or snack. A sweet and sour lentil soup made from pigeon peas (toor dal), flavored with tamarind, jaggery, and spices like mustard seeds, cumin, and asafoetida. A popular Bengali sweet made from chenna (Indian cottage cheese) balls cooked in sugar syrup. It's soft, spongy, and often served chilled. Pakora
Pakora is a savory, deep-fried Indian snack made with chunks of vegetables such as potato, cauliflower and eggplant, Onion etc…., which is then dipped in chickpea flour, seasoned with turmeric, salt, chili, or other spices, and deep-fried in oil.
Chaat
Variety of Indian street foods, snacks, or small meals which usually combine salty, spicy, sweet, and sour flavors. They are usually small, consumed on their own as a snack, or combined with other dishes to form a big meal.


Vada Pav
Vada Pav is a favorite sandwich-style snack from Mumbai, named after its ingredients: vada, or spicy mashed potatoes, which are deep-fried in chickpea batter; and pav, or white bread rolls.
Samosa
Samosas are a tasty, deep fried, or baked, golden brown pastry triangles with savory fillings, usually spiced potatoes, onions, peas, and lentils, although sometimes, they are made with ground lamb or ground chicken. Samosas are typically served hot and accompanied with chopped onions, yogurt, or fresh, homemade Indian chutneys and sauces made with a variety of ingredients such as mint, coriander or tamarind.

Fafda is a popular Gujarati snack made from gram flour (besan) and spices, deep-fried until crispy. It’s commonly served with spicy green chutney or tangy tamarind chutney
Jalebi
Jalebi is a popular Indian sweet made from deep-frying a fermented batter, which is then soaked in sugar syrup. It has a crispy, tangled appearance and a sweet flavor.

Dhokla is a savory steamed cake made from fermented rice and chickpea flour batter. It is a popular snack from the Indian state of Gujarat but is enjoyed all over India.
Khaman
Khaman is a popular Gujarati snack made from fermented gram flour (besan) batter. It’s steamed to make it soft and spongy and then tempered with mustard seeds, curry leaves, and other spices


Thepla
Thepla is a popular Gujarati flatbread made from whole wheat flour, spices, and sometimes added ingredients like fenugreek leaves (methi), spinach, or grated vegetables. It’s a versatile and flavorful bread that can be enjoyed for breakfast, lunch, or as a snack.
Gulab Jamun
Gulab jamun is a dessert based on milk solids that are kneaded into a dough, shaped into balls, and deep-fried in ghee. The balls then get soaked in a sweet thick syrup, flavored with saffron, green cardamom, and rose water. When served, gulab jamun is often garnished with dried nuts to further enhance its flavors.


Mohanthal
Mohanthal is a traditional Indian sweet originating from the state of Gujarat. It is made from besan (gram flour), ghee (clarified butter), sugar, and flavored with cardamom
